Fakro DEFD U8 Electric Opening Quadruple Glazed ‘Passive’ Flat-Glass Flat Roof Window.
Electrically operated Flat-Glass Flat Roof Window. This Type F Window is equipped with an energy efficient quadruple glazing unit DU8 with a whole window U-value of 0.64W/m²K (EN 14351-1). Such excellent performance makes the window suitable for use in passive buildings. Included with the DEF Flat-Glass Flat Roof Window kit: AC Adaptor, Remote Control, and Rain Sensor.
U8 Passive quadruple glazed unit – glass construction 4-12-4-12-4-12-4mm external tempered glass internal low-E silver oxide coated. Heat transmittance co-efficient for the whole window is U-Value 0.64W/m²K. (glass U-Value 0.3W/m²K). Acoustic rating 33Db (-1.-3).
The servo-motor is positioned in the sash and is protected against adverse weather conditions such as rain and snow. This ensures trouble free operation of the servo motor and all control elements. There is also a built in rain sensor that closes the window when it rains. Full electric control window complete with actuator, rain sensor and position for electric blinds (blind sold separately).
All windows come with a remote control as standard which has a wall bracket attachment. Ready to wire in to a 230v power supply or a 13amp plug. The window is equipped with the Z-Wave Electric electrical system which is a wireless radio protocol. Multi-chamber UPVC upstand. The internal finish is RAL9010 white PVC. The step and profiles are in black 9005, the glazing edge colour is grey. Can be used on roofs with pitches between 2-15°.
