Fakro EPJ/C Plain Noninterlocking Tile Recessed Conservation Flashing Kit

Fakro EPJ/C Plain Noninterlocking Tile Recessed Conservation Flashing Kit. A Conservation style black flashing to help meet planning requirements. For use in conjunction with Conservation style roof windows. The EPV flashing is ideal for heavy tiled roof coverings such as: deep plain tiles, wooden shingles. It can be applied to roof coverings of up to 24 to 32mm thickness (2 x 12mm to 16mm each layer). Apply to individual windows in the slope of the roof. A series of window units may also be combined: in horizontal, vertical and block groups. The EPJ/C flashing installs the window 30mm lower into the roof. This helps increase thermal performance and reduces noise from rain and wind. It can be used in a range of installations in roofs with pitches between 25° and 90°. This flashing is made up of lower, upper and side elements, the dimensions depend on the window size. The profiled side elements of the flashing are laid alternately with the roof covering. Fitting tightly with the tiles they create a water-tight barrier. The first two modular side elements are made from soft sheeting which allows it to flex and fit to the profile of the roof covering. The lower element has a plastic mat glued to the underside, which allows an easy and secure coNection to profiled roof covering. The top gutter allows condensation to drain away from the window. n Fakro EPJ/C Plain Noninterlocking Tile Recessed Conservation Flashing Kit.
