Conservation style to go with Conservation roof windows to meet planning demands. The ELV flashing is ideal for a Surface Mounted Installation of your roof window.\n\nIt is made for fitting windows in both slated and tiled roofs. Suitable for non-interlocking coverings up to 10mm (2 x 5mm each layer) in thickness. Installed to provide a completely water-tight assembly. Use for individual windows in the slope of the roof. Or for 'V' type installations a series of window units may also be combined in vertical, horizontal and block group formations.\n\nThe flashing is also available as type ELJ\/C for a Recessed installation. This type ELV\/C can be used in roofs with pitches from 15 to 90 degrees.\n\nThis flashing is made up of lower, upper and side elements, the dimensions of which are dependent on the window height. The side elements of the flashing are laid alternately with the roof covering. The lower element has a plastic mat glued to the underside thus allowing the flashing to adhere to the roof covering for a neat fit. A gutter installed above the window allows condensation to drain away.
